After playing a bold avatar in the runaway hit RX 100, Punjabi girl Payal Rajput is set to spring a surprise in her next film which is a lady oriented story. It is learnt that Payal will be seen as a village belle in this rustic drama which is set in the backdrop of a small village in Hyderabad.
Payal will be seen as a brave and strong-willed woman who fights for the rights of the underprivileged. It is a social drama and Payal’s character will be the driving factor for the film. She will seen playing kabbadi, raising voice for several causes, fighting off men etc in the film.
Directed by Bhanu Shankar, the film has Husharu fame Tejus Kancherla in a pivotal role. The shooting formalities are currently underway in Hyderabad.
