Star hero Victory Venkatesh, whose latest release Babu Bangaram is having a decent run in Telugu states, has two new films in the pipeline. One of them will be the Telugu remake of the popular bilingual sports drama Saala Khadoos which starred Madhavan in the lead role. Impressed with the content, Venky decided to work on the remake and Sudha Kongara,who directed the original, will helm the Telugu version as well.
The pre production work is in full swing and the latest update we hear is that the regular shooting will commence in Chennai in the second week of September. Venky is currently prepping up for his role and reportedly he will sport a rugged look in this film. Rithika Singh has been retained from the original version to play the crucial character and the remaining cast and crew are yet to be announced.
