Superstar Rajinikanth’s recent ending 2.0 ended up as a below average grosser across the Telugu states. The actor already wrapped up the shoot of his next film titled Petta which is an action thriller directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The makers announced that the film will hit the screens in Telugu and Tamil on January 10th next year.
Veteran producer C Kalyan acquired the Telugu theatrical rights of Petta for an undisclosed price. However it is still unclear if the Telugu version will hit the screens during Sankranthi 2019. NTR, Vinaya Vidheya Rama and F2 are the Telugu biggies releasing for “Sankranthi. An official announcement on this is awaited.
