Akkineni’s handsome young lad Akhil Akkineni is quite cautious after his debut film Akhil ended up as a debacle. He took one and half year to finalize his second film which is currently under shoot. Directed by Vikram Kumar, this untitled film is said to be a romantic family entertainer loaded with enough dose of action episodes. Like his earlier films, Vikram Kumar stepped out with an interesting line and the shoot of the film is progressing in Hyderabad. With over a month’s shoot, the female lead of the film has not been finalized yet.
Despite of many speculations like Alia Bhatt and Megha Akash, the makers revealed that the female lead is yet to be locked. An inside source informed that the heroine has an interesting role in the movie and the makers are keen on roping a fresh face rather than a known girl. There are even talks that many actresses turned down the role and Vikram’s team is currently in a hurry so that the schedules will not be disturbed. Annapurna Studios is bankrolling this big budget film.
