Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju starrer Dude has a strong message, other than the youthful entertainment and family emotions. The movie produced by Mythri Movie Makers marked the debut of director Keerthiswaran, and it has opened big in Telugu states, as well as Tamil Nadu, and other south states.
During the Diwali Blast event, producers Mythri Naveen and Ravi expressed their gratitude to the lead actor, the director, and the audience for the overwhelming response. They revealed that the film earned 22 crore worldwide on its opening day.
Pradeep Ranganathan shared his excitement, saying, ““I just heard from my producers that the movie is doing four to five times better than my previous films Love Today and Dragon in Telugu. A huge part of this success goes to Mythri Movie Makers, who gave the film a massive release across the Telugu states. The Telugu audience has shown immense love for Love Today, Dragon, and now Dude.”
The film is also performing exceptionally well in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. “More than the box office collections, what truly matters to me is that people are enjoying the film. I’m happy to see so much laughter and excitement in theaters,” Pradeep added.
He also addressed the choice of English titles for his films, explaining that it helps them resonate with both Telugu and Tamil audiences.
