Team members belonging to the sitcom ‘Jabardash’ had to present themselves in a subcourt in Huzurabad. A complaint was filed against the actors, judges Nagababu and Roja as well as the production company Mallemaala by a local advocate.
The advocate alleged that the sitcom’s content was humiliating lawyers and their profession. This is not the first time that Team Jabardasth faced legal hassles. The show became extremely popular on Etv for its raunchy humour but that very same humour has also turned many people against it.
Etv makes a lot of money from Jabardasth and that is the reason why they have been backing the show even in the face of controversies.
