NTR biopic, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, is undoubtedly one of the eagerly awaited projects of the season. Director Krish Jagarlamudi is making this biopic in two parts titled as NTR Kathanayakudu and NTR Mahanayakudu.
As already reported by Telugu360, this prestigious biopic has been creating ripples in trade circles ever since it was announced. The makers are getting fancy offers from buyers in all areas. Now, it is exclusively learnt that the overseas rights of the two parts have been bagged for a whopping 20 Crores by US Telugu LLC
This is a terrific deal for the producers and the two parts should collectively gross close to $ 4.5 Million for break even in overseas, which means that both parts have to be blockbusters. Krish has a strong track record in overseas. His previous film Gauthamiputra Satakarni grossed more than $ 1.5 M there which is career best for Balakrishna. The craze for NTR among NRIs and the hype generated because of Krish’s perfect casting and stunning posters is one of the reasons why trade circles in overseas are betting big on this crazy project.
While the first part is releasing during Sankranthi, the second part is expected to hit the screens in February. Balakrishna is one of the producers for the film.
