Nara Rohith, Jagapathi Babu, Darshana Banik, Brahmanandam starring film ‘ Aatagallu’ is released on August 24, 2018 with low buzz. Nee Sneham, Andhrudu films director Paruchuri Murali handled this project. Let us see how it has been shaped up:

Story: Popular cinema director Siddharth’s wife Anjali dies under suspicious circumstances. Initial suspect is siddharth, but later a carpenter gets arrested in the case. As the investigation further proceeds, mind game triggers between the public prosecutor Veerendra and the director. Rest of the story reveals how Siddharth’s wife is introduced to him, how she dies, who is the real culprit? Etc. details

Performances: Nara Rohith’s character has dual shadese, he tries his best to be convincing as an image conscious director and as a menacing suspect. Jagapathi Babu has donned a public prosecutor character which has no highlights to mention. Brahmanandam comedy doesn’t work yet another time. Model turned heroine Darshana looks okay but appears too tiny opposite Nara Rohith.

Analysis :

‘Aatagallu’ is yet another slow paced film that are being flooded Tollywood lately. Right from the word go, audience feel boring in seats as the proceedings are disengaged. The supposed mind game between veerendra, Siddharth turns to be damp squib as there isn’t any smart writing involved.

First half takes time in explaining Anjali, Siddarth love and marriage. Second half is more into investigation of Anjali murder and change of suspects. Supporting characters are of B-Grade.

As the core elements lack any commercial suitability, this film tests patience. Jagapathi babu role builds up initialy as a smart, committed one but as it progresses doesn’t appear with initial zeal.

Verdict:

‘Aatagallu’ is a murder mystery film, there are no engaging elements at any point of the fillm. With B-grade production values this film wastes Nara Rohith and Jagapathi Babu. You may avoid it!

The theatrical trailer of Jagapathi Babu and Nara Rohit starrer Aatagallu has been unveiled today and it an extension of the gripping teaser released few days ago.

The two minute trailer positions the film as a intriguing murder mystery involving Nara Rohit as a showbiz actor and Jagapathi Babu as an advocate.

Going by the visuals in the trailer, it is going to be a serious mind game between the accused and the investigator of the murder case. The confrontation scenes between Nara Rohit and Jagapathi Babu are likely to be the major asset for the film.

Female lead Darshana Banik got a glamorous role and Brahmanandam is there to provide some comic relief in this gripping tale. Music by Sai Karthik complements the proceedings well.

Directed by Paruchuri Murali, the film is produced by Friends Movie Creations.

Nara Rohit wraps up his next

Young actor Nara Rohit who has been out of shape worked without breaks and tasted a series of debacles. The actor has been busy with the shoot of his next film Aatagallu which is an action thriller directed by Paruchuri Murali. The movie has been shot without breaks and the entire shoot has been called off. Jagapathi Babu has been assigned a prominent role in the film and Darshana Banik is the female lead.

The pumpkin breaking ceremony took place last evening in the presence of the entire cast, crew of Aatagallu. The makers are currently busy with the post-production work and Aatagallu has been slated for post summer release. Will Nara Rohit reinvent himself with Aatagallu?

Young and promising actor Nara Rohit has not tasted success in the recent years. After a series of interesting films, the young actor signed routine commercial pot boilers which ended up as box-office debacles. His last movie Balakrishnudu was biggest among them and the actor pinned many hopes on his next film titled Aatagallu. Paruchuri Murali is making his comeback as director with the film and veteran actor Jagapathi Babu will play a crucial role in the movie.

The regular shoot of Aatagallu kick-started today and the female lead of Aatagallu is yet to be announced. Rohit revealed that Aatagallu will reinvent himself as an actor and is a perfect film for comeback. Sai Kartheek is the music composer and Friends Movie Creations are the producers. Aatagallu will hit the screens during the second half of 2018. Aatagallu is a racy action thriller and will be high on the performances of Rohit and Jagapathi Babu.
