5 years anniversary of betrayal – Chandrababu fires at Modi

0

This is exactly the day five years ago that the then Central government betrayed the 5 crore people of Andhra Pradesh. AP was unjustly and cruelly separated from Hyderabad capital city. Recalling injustice done on that historic black day, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu once again launched a scathing attack on the present Central government. The betrayal that began five years ago continued and is still continuing even today, leaving AP people in a deep crisis.

Naidu shot off a tweet on this five years anniversary of the Centre’s betrayal of AP. He said no major efforts was made to give comfort to the ailing State. The highly anticipated Special Status was not given by the Centre. It was this status that was promised to compensate for the loss of Hyderabad but it has not been given to AP so far. Whenever the status issue comes to the fore, there is Telangana CM K Chandrasekhara Rao who creates hurdles.

Chandrababu used this occasion to give a call to the people of AP to expose and hit hard at the BJP at every possible forum. Five major promises were not fulfilled. Moreover, the Centre took back illegally Rs. 350 crore that was deposited in AP account towards backward regions’ financial assistance.
