It is a known news that the Silver jubilee celebrations of Movie Artists Association ( MAA) are being held in a grand manner in Dallas, US on this 28th and 29th. Megastar Chiranjeevi and few other stars from Tollywood have graced the event to woo NRIs there.
The latest, we hear, is that a section of NRIs have protested infront of the event complaining that the Telugu Film Industry has not supported the special category status movement in Andhra Pradesh which is currently the hot topic of the state.
True that none of the big stars from Tollywood barring Pawan Kalyan who launched a political party have came forward to raise the clamour for the need of special status after the bifurcation of Andhra and Telangana has left residue state with a lot of disadvantages.
