Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is shooting for two films in tandem. While Savyasachi, which is being directed by Chandoo Mondeti, is on the verge of completion, Shailaja Reddy Alludu with director Maruthi is progressing at a brisk pace.
Savyasachi was supposed to hit the screens in June. But, the delay in shoots has forced the makers to push the release to July. The latest we hear is that the film might be postponed to August end due to multiple reshoots.
Meanwhile, Maruthi planning to wrap up Shailaja Reddy Alludu in quick time and release it on August 30th.
So, clash of dates for these two films is a likely scenario. Chaitu has already clarified to Savyasachi makers that there will be no change in the release date of Shailaja Reddy Alludu. He asked them to plan the release of Savyasachi accordingly.
It remains to be seen if the makers of both these films mutually agree to avert the clash at box office.
