Akkineni Naga Chaitanya’s latest outing Majili, which hit the screens today, has opened to promising reports all over. The emotional romantic drama has garnered encouraging talk from overseas premiers and registered good openings there.
Majili has collected $ 163K from Thursday premiers and gave career best openings for Naga Chaitanya in US by surpassing the premiers of Shailaja Reddy Alludu and Savyasachi. The performances of the lead pair and the soul-stirring narration by director Siva Nirvana are the selling points for Majili. Samantha and Divyansha Kaushik are the female leads.
As the word of mouth is very good and the reviews are decent, Majili is likely to have a strong weekend in overseas. After back to back debacles, Chaitu has finally bagged the much needed hit with this film.
