Macho actor Rana Daggubati, who played the nemesis of Prabhas in ‘Baahubali’, opines that the ‘Mirchi’ actor is the biggest action star that Tollywood ever has.
During an interview, when the host asked Rana if Prabhas really is a bigger star than the three Khans of Bollywood as said by a key technician of Baahubali, Rana admitted that Prabhas is the biggest action hero that Telugu film industry ever had. Saying that he was not downplaying any actor, Rana said that Prabhas was a huge star even before Baahubali happened.
‘He has delivered a few massive blockbusters even before he took up Baahubali. Of course there is Rajamouli’s vision and producers’ courage behind making of Baahubali but the project wouldn’t have happened without Prabhas. He really stood as a pillar of strength for the film and dedicated five years of his career just believing in the project, without asking many questions. Not many stars can do what he has done,’ said Rana reasoning why Prabhas is a superstar in his opinion.
The humble Prabhas however downplayed Rana’s statement of calling him the biggest star and said that he just blabbered whatever came to his mind in over-excitement.
