Media is considered fourth estate in democratic India ( First three being – executive, legislature, and judiciary). So media barons are always powerful in India. Especially, in Telugu states, Ramoji, the media moghul has always been a very powerful and could change the political dynamics of the states. Every Telugu person knows his role in making NTR and then Chandra Babu CMs. But there is an interesting change in the equation recently as ABN Radha Krishna becoming more prominent figure, at least in the context of politics of Telugu states.
RK slowly built a good ecosystem in Telugu media. His channel is rated at top 4-5, news paper in top 3 and website is popular than Eenadu ( Earlier T360 reported that Andhra Jyoti crossed Eenadu in Alexa rankings). Also, he is now well connected with both KCR and Naidu. He is now the go to person for both CM’s in media.
