The Modi-Shah duo are giving top priority to BJP Rajya Sabha MP Sujana Chowdary as far as improving the electoral fortunes of their party in Andhra. Accordingly, Sujana has been making comments on emerging political scenario in the state consistently. His latest comments on Jagan Circar have triggered lot of speculation on the Modi-Shah duo’s future moves to tackle YCP. Is BJP national leadership going to take a close look at the overall performance of CM Jaganmohan Reddy in the past two months?
Sujana has indicated that the Centre will soon study the AP situation in the light of cancellation of ongoing developmental works especially the Polavaram project. Sujana has also said that Jagan Circar is wasting its time by always making personal attacks against Opposition parties all the time both inside the Assembly and outside.
Jagan Circar cannot unilaterally cancel all those projects that were started by previous governments. It is clearly indicated that the Modi-Shah duo are going to study this aspect and see how they can proceed against YCP’s arrogant approach. The immediate aim of BJP is to take advantage of political situation in the state to strengthen itself and emerge as a strong alternative. Analysts say that BJP is seeing big scope to interfere in the AP affairs considering rising unpopularity of Jagan’s decisions. The Centre may also remove control of AP on Polavaram project as it is a national project being funded by the Union government. TDP suffered badly during 2019 election due to BJP interference and the same is going to happen to YCP sooner than later.
