Naga Chaitanya’s next for Diwali

Naga Chaitanya and ace director Gautham Menon teamed up for an upcoming romantic and action entertainer, ‘Sahasame Swasaga Saagipo’. 75 percent of the shoot has been completed and as per the fresh update, the producer is planning to release the film in the first week of November as a Diwali treat. The confirmed date will be announced soon.

Manjima Mohan is the heroine and AR Rahman is giving the tunes. Kona Venkat is presenting the film and Ravinder Reddy is producing it. Major part of the filming is being carried out in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The first look trailer, which was released last month, got a superb response in the audience.

Manjima initially had apprehensions about acting in a Telugu film, but after having worked fifty percent in Gautam Menen’s bilingual , the lovely lady says she is now open to working in Telugu films provided the role offered to her is strong and makes an impact. Ask her what kind of person she is, the actor tells telugu360.com that she is someone who socialises a lot. “I talk a lot.. Naga Chaitanya would come and say hey Manjima what’s the new gossip with you. I an optimistic and if I want something I like to get it and go for it. I am a go getter but a simple people. Doing a bilingual is like doing two films, two different films, so I will wait till this film is done before I think of other projects. I don’t read books, I listen to music..the first thing I do when I wake up. When I am in a mood to exercise I will otherwise fool around. I am from Palakkad but stay in Trivendrum.”

Akkineni fans are a happy lot these days. Recently 3 teasers of Akkineni films were launched for Akkineni Nagarjuna’s birthday. Soggade Chinninayana teaser was the surprise package of the day with King Nagarjuna playing to the galleries in a rural mass avatar. The much awaited teaser of Akhil satisfied the fans who are eaerly waiting for the lauch of thid Akkineni scion. Sahasame Swasaga Saagipo teaser stayed true to Gautham Menon’s style of making. Akkineni fans are now spoilt for choice and will have a spate of release in the last quarter of 2015. Akhil will be the first release this Dusserah on October 21st 2015. Sahasame Swasaga Saagipo will release in November/December 2015 closely followed by Soggade Chinninayana whose release date is unclear as of now. Added to these three, there is a multistarrer waiting in the wings. Naharjuna and Karthi’s multistarrer in the direction of Vamsi Paidipally which will release in 2016. Well and truly a feast for Akkineni Fans is in the offing.

Naga Chaitanya is officially remaking Malayalam mega blockbuster Premam in Telugu. This film will be directed by Chandoo Mondeti of Karthikeya fame. Harika Hassine combines will produce this film. Latest we hear is that Parineeti Chopra has been approached by the makers of the film to play one among the three leading lady roles in this film. In principle, Parineeti Chopra is said to have okayed the project and will sign the dotted line after the final narration of script. Disha Patani who is playing the lead role in Varun Tej’s Loafer is all set to essay the other leading lady role in this remake.

After Dohchay, Naga Chaitanya pulled off a surprise and started a project with Goutham Vasudev Menon. This untitled film is 60% complete and is being readied for a release in the last quarter of 2015. Latest we hear is that the first look and title of the film will be revealed on 29th August, birthday of King Nagarjuna. Goutham Menon recently revealed that this will be an action film sticking to the sensibilities of the director. Debutant Manjima Mohan is paired with Naga Chaitanya in this film.
