The actor is currently busy shooting for back to back episodes for the television show. Sumanth and Naga Chaitanya will be the guests for the first show and Rana took twitter to reveal the news. The second episode will witness Akhil Akkineni and SS Karthikeya (SS Rajamouli’s son) which is being shot currently. Official: Chaitu announces his Wedding Date

Young actor Naga Chaitanya had a rocking year recently and his outings Premam, Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam ended up massive blockbusters. With enough films in hand, the actor is busy wrapping up all his commitments. Deeply in love with Samantha from the past couple of years, the duo got engaged early this year and we revealed that the wedding date will take place on October 6th. Now during the Jio Filmfare Awards Press Conference which has been held today, Chaitu announced the date officially.

He said “Me and Sam are getting married on October 6th and it will take place twice as per the Hindu and Christian traditions. The wedding will take place in Goa and will have selected presence. Will reveal more updates soon”. Chaitu is currently busy with the shoot of his next which is directed by a debutant Krishna. Lavanya Tripathi is the female lead and Suresh Productions along with Vaarahi Chalana Chitram are producing the film.

RRVC hits half million in overseas

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya starer Ra Randoi Veduka Chudham has hit the half million mark in overseas by the end of second Saturday. After a decent first weekend with $ 370K, the film didn’t perform on par with the good word of mouth on weekdays. The Kalyan Krishna directional started the second weekend on a slow note with a meagre $ 16K on Friday.

In its second Saturday, the family drama managed to collect just $ 15K, taking the total past the half million mark. The film is still a long way from the break even mark. This is the third film in Chaitu’s career after Manam and Premam to clock half million dollars in overseas.

Chaitu and Rakul Preet did a commendable job with their performances, but the weak narration and predictable plot has dented the film’s collections.

Lavanya Tripathi approached for ‘100% Love’ Tamil remake

Actress Lavanya Tripathi, basking in the success of “Radha”, might team up with actor-composer G.V. Prakash Kumar in upcoming yet-untitled Tamil remake of Telugu blockbuster “100% Love”.

“Lavanya is currently the front runner. She has been approached but she is yet to take an official call. She is figuring out dates as she has other commitments as well,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.

Originally, “Shivaay” fame Sayyeshaa was offered the role but she turned it down.

Naga Chaitanya and Tamannaah Bhatia starred in the original.

The remake will be directed by debutant Chandra Mouli, former associate of Sukumar who directed “100% Love”.

The shoot of the film might start by September or October and the team is in the process of finalising the rest of the cast.

Akkineni handsome young lad Naga Chaitanya is on cloud nine after his latest outing Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam has been declared as a blockbuster. The actor has many interesting projects and he announced a film with Tamil filmmaker Karthick Naren. The movie is expected to start rolling from August this year however Chaitu walked out of the projects which is said to be a bilingual citing date issues. The makers have been in hunt for the replacement.

The latest update says that Sundeep Kishan has been roped in to play the lead role in the film. The film has been titled Naraga Sooran (Telugu title yet to be locked) and the regular shoot of the film will start from the last week of August. Sundeep Kishan is currently occupied with many interesting projects and the makers have been eagerly waiting for the young actor to start the shoot. The film may hit the screens during early 2018.

RRVC opens strongly in Telugu states

Akkineni Naga Chaitanaya’s Ra Randoi Veduka Chudham released amidst a lot of positive vibes and good expectations, thanks to the good pre release promotions from Annapurna Studios.

The clean slate family entertainer took a strong opening on its first day in the Telugu states. Trade reports revealed that the opening day figures are very promising in all areas as there are good occupancies in A centres. Despite a wafer thin storyline and a rehash of a many family entertainers, RRVC benefitted largely from the fine performances of the lead pair. The next couple of days will be very crucial to decide the fate of film’s box office prospects.

Directed by Kalyan Krishna, the film has its music score done by Devi Sri Prasad.

King Nagarjuna who always stands in the front row in encouraging fresh talent introduced Kalyan Krishna with Soggade Chinni Nayana which ended up Nag’s career’s biggest hit. Now Kalyan directed Naga Chaitanya in Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam which has been produced by Nagarjuna’s Annapurna Studios. Rakul Preet Singh played the female lead and Devi Sri Prasad composed the film’s sound track. Here is the film’s complete review:

Story:

Bramaramba (Rakul Preet Singh) is a village based simple, traditional and lovable girl who is well bonded with her father Aadhi (Sampath Raj). Shiva (Naga Chaitanya) hails from Vizag and visits her village for his cousin’s marriage after which he instantly falls for her. To pursue her MBA, Bramaramba moves to Vizag during which the duo gets bonded well. Shiva too has a close bonding with his dad Krishna (Jagapathi Babu) and the rest of the film is all about the rivalry between their fathers and how their love solves all the problems and unites their families. Analysis:

Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam has nothing new and interesting. It has been inspired majorly from Nag’s yesteryear super hit film Ninne Pelladatha. If one ignores that the film’s plot has nothing new to reveal, the film is a treat as the name suggests. Kalyan Krishna showed no interest on the story and he was focused much in impressing the family audience. Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam has a list of actors and most of them have not been properly used. Every frame is filled with colours, top rated actors and beautiful frames and thanks to the grand production values. Even the common audience can completely predict the film which is sure the major disadvantage of Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam.

With not many unexpected twists, the first half of Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam passes on and the songs have been shot well. It is during the second half during which the real story unfolds however the outdated narration keeps the film low. Many of the episodes look dragged and the pre-climax episodes look hurried. The climax has been simple and the film ends on an average note. Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam has been lined up with number of actors but the director failed to use them. The film reveals that he has been forced to watch Ninne Pelladatha again and again.

Performance:

Naga Chaitanya looked matured and he steals the show with his flawless performance. He performed with ease and he looked natural throughout the film. He has been decent in the emotional episodes which are quite crucial for the film. Rakul Preet Singh will be remembered as Bramaramba for a long time and she proved that she will be the best choice for the role. Rakul shined in each and every frame and her traditional look is a treat to be watched on screen. Jagapathi Babu and Sampath Raj delivered out their best in their assigned roles.

Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam has nothing new in its plot. The screenplay looks outdated however the dialogues have been decent. The music and the background score have been pretty average and the cinematography is the major asset of Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam. Grand production values and a list of top actors make the film look grand enough in each and every frame. Kalyan Krishna should have well concentrated on the script and he fails to recreate the magic of Ninne Pelladatha. He missed the much needed soul of a family entertainer.

Verdict:

Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam misses the much needed soul of a family entertainer. Though it has been completely predictable and outdated, it will impress a section of audience who accept films that are passable. Naga Chaitanya and Rakul Preet Singh deliver out their best.

Actor Naga Chaitanya, who is set to marry actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu in October, says he is enjoying all the attention coming his way as he believes this phase won’t last long.

“Wherever I go, I’m asked about my marriage. Honestly, there’s no pressure anymore because everybody knows. I believe this phase… where people constantly want to know about my marriage…it won’t last long. Nobody is going to ask me this question next year,” Chaitanya told IANS over phone from Hyderabad.

“Let me enjoy while it lasts,” he chuckled.

Chaitanya awaits the release of Kalyan Krishna-directed Telugu romantic-drama “Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam”, hitting the screens on Friday.

Talking about the project, he said it’s been his father Akkineni Nagarjuna’s wish that he stars in an out-and-out commercial film.

“I’m taking the commercial route with ‘Rarandoia…’. It’s a light-hearted film and Kalyan has given me a very energetic character. Dad wanted me to do a full-length commercial film for a long time and it’s being fulfilled with this project,” he said.

Kalyan had previously worked with Nagarjuna in last year’s Telugu blockbuster “Soggade Chinni Nayana”.

Did Kalyan’s previous collaboration with Chaitanya’s father persuade him to collaborate?

“I saw Kalyan working on the sets of ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’. As we started talking, he bounced off a few ideas and we eventually decided we will work together. It’s his work, especially the way he presents his characters, that really convinced me to work with him,” Chaitanya said.

The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh.

Naga Chaitanya’s dialogue ‘Ammayilu Aarogyaniki Haanikaram (Girls are injurious to health) from the trailer of the actor’s upcoming film ‘Ra Randoi Veduka Chooddam’ became so popular among youth that anchor of the film’s pre-release event held last night, asked the key actors and technicians in attendance about their opinion on the Akkineni’ hero’s dialogue.

While everyone was trying to give as funny answers as they can, Chalapathi Rao, who infamously essayed the role of a rapist in several Telugu films during his young age, showed no inhibition, no dignity and least respect towards women when he said, “I don’t know if girls are injurious to health but they surely provide comfort in bed (i.e. good only for sex)”.

The crude comment from the senior actor left the anchor, a woman who posed the question, speechless. The poor lady looked so uncomfortable and disgusted with the actor’s answer that she immediately returned to the dais.

The shameless actor didn’t even try to correct his statement later.

My fascination for cars and bikes started when I was in Chennai.

I grew up watching English films mostly and my dad believes that I have not been exposed in B and C centres. Hence I am signing films that will impress the audience of all the sections.

Premam is one film that came out after many debacles. I learned many things from my failures.

I have enough trust on Gautam Menon and I am ready to sign a film without even listening to the script. He was the one who gave me Ye Maya Chesave.

I am a person with enough shy but Samantha is quite social. Sam clicks a picture and in the next minute, it will be online. I am enjoying this phase currently.

Cooking has been my passion and I love to bake whenever I feel like eating outside.

I am shooting for my next which is directed by my childhood friend Krishna. The film is a revenge thriller and Chandoo Mondeti will direct me again. I am in talks for Gautam Menon’s next which will be made in four languages.

Samantha’s riposte to Chay’s dialogue leaves fans in splits

Yesterday evening, the first trailer of Naga Chaitanya’s Ra Randoi Veduka Choodam has been released to a thumping response. While the entertaining elements and the rich visuals impressed big-time, what caught the attention of younger generation audience is the warning ‘ Ammayilu Manashanti ki Hanikaram’ (Girls are injurious to peaceful mind) at the end of trailer. Soon after the trailer release, this dialogue became a huge rage in social media.

As soon as Samantha posted the trailer on her Twitter page, one of her followers pointed out that dialogue. Responding on this, Samantha quickly replied ‘ ha ha migatha ammayilu gurunchi’. She meant Chaitu is referring to remaining girls. This witty reply from Sam has left all her followers in splits. Chaitu is yet to respond on this clever reply from Sam.

It is well known that both Chaitu and Samantha are soon going to tie the nuptial knot later this year.
