Telangana Boggu Ghani Karmika Sangham (TGBKS) affiliated to the ruling TRS has triumphed the much-hyped trade union elections of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL).

AITUC won only in two divisions of Bhupalapalli and Mandamarri. TBGKS secured 9divisions of 12. It polled 217 votes majority in Illandu, 544 votes majority in Kothagudem Corporate, 174votes in Bellampally, 629 votes in Manuguru, 2248 votes in Srirampur, 770 in Kothagudem Corporate. It won in Ramagundam-1,2,3 with a majority of 312, 766 and 229 votes respectively.

TBGKS secured its maiden victory in Hyderabad Singareni Bhavan wherein it polled 77votes of the 86.

With about 96% polling recorded, employees of SCCL exercised their franchise on Thursday in the election that gained political fervour with the TRS and the opposition parties giving their everything to secure the win.
