Mega Prince Varuntej has number of interesting projects lined up and the actor signed two movies Mister and Fidaa which started shooting simultaneously. However the leg injury of Varuntej delayed both the projects. Mister directed by Sreenu Vaitla completed the talkie part finally and Lavanya Tripathi, Hebah Patel are the female leads. Couple of songs are yet to be shot and they will be canned in March once Varuntej is back.
Varun moved to USA last night and he will be shooting for Sekhar Kammula’s Fidaa which is said to be a romantic entertainer. Sai Pallavi is the female lead and the makers will shoot some crucial episodes in USA till March 10th with which the major shoot of the film will be wrapped up. Fidaa is said to be the love saga of a NRI guy who falls in love with a Telangana village girl. Dil Raju is the producer and Fidaa will hit the screens during the second half of this year. Varuntej will return back on March 10th and will shoot for the couple of songs for Mister which has been aimed for April release.
