National award winning Bollywood actor Vidya Balan is soon going to debut in Telugu with the much awaited biopic on legendary filmstar and politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao which has been eponymously titled as NTR. Reportedly, Vidya Balan will play the role of NTR’s wife Basavataram in the film which has Balakrishna playing the titular role.
Meanwhile, it is now learnt that Vidya Balan has been approached for the biopic of actress turned politician Jayalalitha which has been on cards since the past few months. As per the reports, Vishnu Induri, one of the producers of NTR biopic, is in plans to make the biopic on Jayalalitha on a grand scale. He is looking to rope in best technicians and top tier cast for Jayalalitha’s biopic.
If Vidya Balan signs this project, it will be back to back biopics for her in South.
