KatamaRayudu 2nd Day Collections

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s commercial entertainer Katamarayudu opened on a strong note in Telugu states last Friday. Despite receiving mixed response from audience, the film is continuing to notch up decent moolah at the box office on Saturday and Sunday. The film is going very strong in Nizam and is having a decent run in other areas.

Trade reports suggest that the film is doing good in Pawan Kalyan’s stronghold areas despite getting an average word of mouth from the first day. In Telugu states, the film is riding well on Pawan’s charisma. On the other side, the film’s collections are slightly disappointed in Overseas. Though it has released in massive number of screens, it managed just $ 433K from its premiers and just above $ 200K on Friday and Saturday.

Despite Pawan’s one man show, the formulaic storyline and a poorly executed second half have slightly disappointed the audience. Directed by Dolly, Katamarayudu has Shruthi Haasan as the female lead.
