Case filed on Ex-MLA and Congress party senior leader Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy after a woman alleged him about sexual harassment and protested in front of his apartment.
A woman named Vijaya Lakshmi Reddy has made allegations on former MLA Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy. She told, she is a social worker and they both met 4 years back. She told, later they started having physical relation. She alleged that, now Gandra wants to ditch her and she has life threat from him. She started demonstration in front of his apartment. Police reached there and took her to station and had her give a written complaint. As per her complaint, they booked case under IPC sections 420, 505, 506, 417
Gandra his wife reacted on this and they told, there is a political conspiracy and the political opponents are using her to defame Gandra .
