BJP Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao has taken strong objection to the TDP leaders’ stand on the demand for investigation by a Central agency into the recent Jagan knife attack case. GVL said CM Chandrababu Naidu has taken a U-Turn in the case by objecting to the Central agency enquiry.
GVL says that it was CBN who has said that the attack took place in the jurisdiction of Central agencies since the airport security is looked after by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) which is a central government organisation. The BJP MP says then the TDP should have no objection to the Central agency enquiry.
GVL asserted that the TDP leaders were very much afraid of talking about the Jagan attack case. He pointed out that the police remand report had also clearly mentioned that Srinivasa Rao had made the attack with an intention to murder Jagan. The attacker was also charged with attempt to murder Opposition leader.
