Finding an apt story is a major issue for director Vamshi Paidipally. Inspiration comes to him from foreign movies. He ripped off “Face/Off” into ‘Yevadu’ and bought remake rights of a French movie to make ‘Oopiri’. Mahesh Babu’s ‘Maharshi’ was loosely based on ‘3 Idiots’. But ‘Maharshi’ became the biggest blockbuster in his career and it cemented his position as one of the leading directors in Tollywood.
During the making of this movie, Mahesh Babu and Vamsi Paidipally hit off well. Their families became friends as well. So, he immediately gave the director another chance. But he was not able to pen the script yet.
Vamsi is seeking more time to get a brilliant script. His writers’ team is now working at the table.
Mahesh Babu needs a successful director to take his next movie to the sets immediately. He has given his agreement to KGF director Prasanth Neel and Vamsi Paidipally but neither of them can start the movie immediately.
