For the past two days, Deepika Padukone has been in news because of wrong reasons. The actress was removed from the sequel of Kalki 2898 AD and there are a lot of debates going on about her demands and her quoted remuneration. Though everyone felt that the actress would issue a statement or a clarification, nothing happened. The actress has joined the sets of her next film titled King, a high voltage action drama featuring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role.
This is the sixth collaboration of Deepika Padukone with SRK and the actress also posted about this. She joined the sets of the film today in Mumbai. “The very first lesson he (SRK) taught me almost 18 years ago while filming Om Shanti Om was that the experience of making a movie, and the people you make it with, matter far more than its success. I couldn’t agree more and have applied that learning to every decision I have made since. And that’s probably why we’re back making our 6th movie together?”, told the post of Deepika.
King is directed by Siddharth Anand and is jointly produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand. The film also has Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan in other prominent roles.
