TRS MLA from Manakondur and well-known folk singer Rasamayi Balakishan was one of the main attractions of ATA Conference held in Rosemont Center, Chicago. Rasamayi was seen promoting Telangaga culture busy singing ballards in the conference and the conference organizers were gracious enough to give him good stage time.
At the grand finale of the conference on Sunday July 3rd, Rasamayi Balakishan had some uncomfortable moments. As Rasamayi was singing ballards, mike was cut off after a minute without his notice. Rasamayi was heard saying “Nenu MLA ni. Cabinet minister stayi naadhi. Nenu ekkada raavatame mee adrustam” Somehow, Rasamayi’s mike was activated again and he continued his ballards. After that, organizers were seen apologizing Rasamayi that since Manisharma show was getting late they had to cut him short.
