Aadi’s Chuttalabbayi and Sushanth’s Aatadukundam Ra released this Friday and the films failed to attain massive openings at the ticket window due to the lack of power-packed trailers and the previous track records of Aadi and Sushanth. Both the films failed to impress the audience big time and fell flat at the box-office. Chuttalabbayi has been directed by Veerabhadram and Aatadukundam Ra has been directed by G Nageshwar Reddy. With the disastrous run of both the films, successful films like Babu Bangaram and Pelli Choopulu have been continuing their dream run at the box-office.
Venky’s Babu Bangaram released on August 12th and it has been declared as a box-office hit already. The movie has been undisputed even its second week and the news releases failed to make much impact on the film’s collections. The movie witnessed packed houses over its second weekend all over. Pelli Choopulu which happened to be this year’s surprise hit too remained strong over the weekend. With not many options, the movie picked up well all over the Telugu speaking states and is running successfully in its fifth weekend. Pelli Choopulu witnessed 121.75% growth on Saturday and it collected 41,530 USD in USA. Babu Bangaram and Pelli Choopulu are expected to continue their dream till the release of NTR’s Janatha Garage.
