Bharat Ane Nenu, Naa Peru Surya producers discussion on release date
In a rare instance of box office clash between two biggies, Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya and Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu are scheduled to release on April 27th. The producers of NPS announced the release date on the day the film started rolling. On the other side, Mahesh Babu’s BAN, which was supposed to release for Sankranthi, has been pushed to Summer due to the delay in shooting schedules. BAN producer has surprised everyone by officially announcing April 28 as the release date. Later, Geetha Arts reiterated that NPS is arriving on the announced date.
As the same day release might impact the box office performance of both films, trade circles are waiting for one of them to back out from the race.
Now, it is exclusively learnt that both producers have held discussion recently on the release date issue. As per the reports, BAN producer Danayya met NPS producers Nagendra Babu, Bunny Vas and Lagadapati Sridhar. Though the outcome of the meeting is not completely known, it is heard that NPS are not interested to miss the April 28th date. They have requested Danayya to prepone the release date of BAN to April 13 th.
However, it is yet to be known if Danayya has agreed to their request or not.
