In AP politics, most of the media channels are often directed by a particular political party. In that, Yellow media plays a prominent role in supporting the government and covering up the flaws. It is an open secret that the media barons receive kickbacks in the form of lands, and other resources, given their support to the ruling government.
What if the same thing becomes public? Will the public be able to digest this fact? The answer is yes. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has openly pledged the media not to focus on ‘politics’, and to only focus on the injustice down by the Centre on AP.
The basic question that arises in this context is, how can someone dictate the media, on what to focus and not? It seems that, if it is the CM, he can literally control whatever he wants.
Since the past few decades, Yellow media has been promoting the Yellow Party, irrespective of the public opinion. With the State’s CM giving the directives on what to do and what not to do, we can expect more Yellow colouring from Yellow Media towards the Yellow Party.
