Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has arrived in London along with his wife, Nara Bhuvaneswari, to attend a prestigious awards ceremony. Bhuvaneswari has been selected for two major recognitions, the Distinguished Fellowship 2025 Award and the Golden Peacock Award, presented by the Institute of Directors (IOD), UK.
The couple received a warm welcome at Heathrow Airport from the Telugu community in London. Families gathered to greet the Chief Minister and his wife, who took a few moments to interact with them and learn about their lives abroad. Though the visit is a personal one, the warmth of the welcome made it a moment to remember.
Nara Bhuvaneswari, who serves as the Managing Trustee of the NTR Memorial Trust and Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of Heritage Foods, will receive the Distinguished Fellowship Award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to public service and social impact. Heritage Foods has also been honoured with the Golden Peacock Award for Excellence in Corporate Governance, a recognition she will receive on behalf of the company.
The award ceremony is scheduled for November 4, where both awards will be officially presented. Chandrababu Naidu is expected to attend the event to support his wife’s achievements.
After a series of hectic political engagements in Andhra Pradesh, this London trip marks a brief pause for Naidu, allowing him to celebrate his wife’s accomplishments on an international stage.
