Chandrababu Naidu’s decision to pull out from NDA has made national headlines. Things went so far that, BJP leaders, who never took AP or CBN name, started mentioning TDP, CBN and AP is every press meet. BJP Cabinet Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad is the latest addition to this list. Speaking to the press media, the cabinet minister made stark remarks on Chandrababu Naidu and TDP.
‘AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has no problem with us. He has problem with YSRCP. It is really unfortunate to see TDP exiting the NDA alliance.
We have made it very clear that Special Category Status is not possible to Andhra Pradesh. That’s the sole reason we came up with Special Package. There is no need for any party to express any suspicions over us in this regard. We are very sure that our next PM is also Narendra Modi only’.
Ravi Shankar Prasad comments come at a time when Chandrababu Naidu is trying to move the no-confidence motion (NCM) against the Centre. Though the NCM will not have an effect on the NDA govt., TDP feels that it could pave way for a detailed discussion on AP problems.
