Directors having tough time with music composer’s eccentricities

Unfortunately he is the only notable music director left in Tollywood. He delivered numerous chartbuster albums for big ticket films. As his tunes are turning out to be repetitive, some directors have decided to work with new talented composers. But, they have hardly made an impact and faded out quickly. Out of state exports like Anirudh and Harris jayraj are not able to go to next level. However this noted music director makes sure there are a couple of hit songs and decent background score which makes him the only choice for top stars.

He doesn’t answer the phone calls of directors and doesn’t stick to committed dates. So a top director of a recently bombed film had to get a music director from Tamil Nadu. Directors don’t have any issue with his work, but the main issue is his professionalism. For a top star’s movie which is to be released in April and there are rumours of postponement, the production house had to book rooms in Grand Hyatt Dubai to get the work done quickly.

A top director, who worked with him for numerous films, wanted to continue their hit combination for the recent big ticket film. But, the director is fed up with the composer’s working style and changed him. He usually sits in Chennai for music settings and the director had to reach him there and spend considerable time there.

The composer is also not available for phone contacts for many days as he turns off his mobile.

Despite all this, top directors are still approaching him for big budget movies as there are not much options left for them.
