With Vijay Devarakonda scoring a massive hit with Geetha Govindam, all his next film have been carrying huge buzz and are hot in trade. His next film NOTA is gearing up for an October release and is shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages. The makers are expecting over Rs 30 crores through the Telugu theatrical rights and the deal is yet to be closed.
The makers received quotes between Rs 20 and Rs 25 crores but they are not willing to sell the rights for that price. For a political drama like NOTA, Rs 30 crores and above is too high and several filmmakers backed out without closing the deal. We have to wait to see if the makers step down and quote decent price so that the deal would be closed.
Anand Shankar directed NOTA and KE Gnanavel Raja’s Studio Green bankrolled the film. Mehreen is the female lead and Satyaraj, Nassar played other important roles. The trailer that has been out recently received thumping response from the audience.
