TDP National President N Chandrababu Naidu has only a handful of MLAs against the brutal majority of CM Jaganmohan Reddy party in Assembly. But, Naidu’s sustained attack is making inexperienced Jagan Reddy to lose his patience. As a result, CM is using all sorts of nasty, cheap language on the floor of the House. Interestingly, Speaker Tammineni Sitaram is blindly and dutifully allowing all the objectionable talk of Jagan to go into the records. Now, young chief minister Jagan Reddy went to the extent of calling Naidu a buffoon. YSR son was so impatient that he cursed Naidu to be unfit to be even Opposition leader in the Assembly. All this bitterness came up after Naidu cornered ruling YCP very badly on the issue of 5-year-old SC dalit girl rape in Guntur town.
Chandrababu Naidu demanded why YCP Circar and AP Police are not taking any action against college student Laxma Reddy who allegedly raped the girl. Naidu took advantage of the debate on dalit welfare in AP Assembly. SC girl rape issue shook the YCP which maintained silence on the issue. Embarrassingly for Jagan Reddy, the rape incident took place within a day of his nation-wide famous AP Disha Act. More embarrassingly, the rapist this time is a Reddy. Already, dalit leaders like Krishna Madiga are asking Telugu CMs whether they would not encounter rapists if they are Reddys.
