SS Rajamouli stepped out with a bunch of surprising announcements about his next film RRR. The regular shoot commenced last year and it completed two schedules. NTR, Ram Charan are the lead actors and Alia Bhatt, Daisy Edgar Jones are the heroines. Rajamouli clarified that the film’s shoot will be completed by the end of this year. The biggest surprise here is that the film’s estimated budget was quoted to be Rs 350-400 crores. With RRR being made in a single part and the entire film’s shoot getting completed in 14-15 months, the budget quote is unreasonably high.
Even Baahubali instalments did not cost that much after they are shot for over two years each. The lead actors NTR and Ram Charan will be sharing the profits for the film and they will not take any remuneration home as of now. Most of the film happens in special sets erected in Ramoji Film City and Aluminium Factory which have been leased out for a year. Considering all these, there are talks that the budget of RRR may be inflated. Only Rajamouli and the makers may know the real figure.
