AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy spoke in the Assembly about the Disha rape-and-murder incident in Telangana state capital. He heaped praise on CM K Chandrasekhar Rao for taking a bold decision to encounter the killers of Disha. Jagan said that the Disha’s murder emotionally moved him and that he also felt that there would be nothing wrong to shoot the rapists dead. A correct decision was taken by CM KCR.
Like Jagan, political leaders across the country are referring to the encounter in Telangana these few days. Social media activists have also praised the Cyberabad police. This is giving lot of trouble to the police officers involved in the encounter. Their statements are sending a wrong message that the Disha killers were shot dead in a fake encounter. The officials are struggling hard to give answers to the National Human Rights Commission. Some NGOs are even demanding cases to be booked against Cyberabad Commissioner Sajjanar. Jagan’s comments on the floor of Assembly are seen as equally bold.
