The YCP leaders are continuing their propaganda style to get away with whatever they do. Jagan media has spread words of praise how he asked Chief Secretary LV Subrahmanyam to keep the swearing-in expenses below Rs 2 lakh. It spread rumours on the commitment with which Jagan is repairing the damage done by former CM Chandrababu Naidu.
But now, reports are coming out on the actual expenditure on his swearing-in which is expected to cross over Rs 6 crore. The authorities released Rs 29.10 lakh towards advance for arrangements made at the swearing-in dais and facilities for VIPs alone. Usually, officials release 20 per cent of the total cost as advance. Rooms were also booked in star hotels. All these expenses put together are expected to have cost nearly Rs. 2 crore.
Moreover, front page ads were released to the Sakshi and friendly media. The ad spendings alone are stated to be nearly Rs 4 crore on the swearing-in day. Many questions are being asked now whether Jagan is truly following financial discipline to save the state.
