The most awaited biopic of Tollywood, Mahanati is in final stages of shoot. Mahanati is the life story of legendary actress Savitri and Keerthy Suresh is playing the top actress on screen. With delay in the VFX work, the films’ release has been pushed from March. The makers on the eve of Ugadi revealed that Mahanati will hit the screens on May 9th during the mid of summer. Nag Aswhin is the director of the film and Prakash Raj, Samantha, Dulquer Salman, Vijay Devarakonda will be seen in other pivotal roles.
Made on a massive budget, the maker recreated the mood of 70s by erecting huge sets. Naga Chaitanya recently shot his part and he will be reprising the role of his grandfather ANR on screen. Another legendary actor NTR’s content from his old films will be re-mastered and will be inserted digitally in the film. Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema are producing Mahanati which has been carrying decent expectations.
