Indicating that the defection are unlikely to stop in Andhra Pradesh, chief minister Chandrababu Naidu called upon party ranks to invite more like-minded into Telugu Desam Party.

Naidu made this appeal while addressing a teleconference with about 4500 party leaders from districts amid the hectic arrangements for admitting many more YSRC MLAs into the yellow party.Bobbili MLA Sujay Krishna Rangarao, along with his brother Baby Nayana, is joining the party on April 20 as part of the celebration of Naidu’s birthday.

The teleconference took place against the backdrop of growing unrest, though silent, in the party with the entry of new leaders from YSRCP. TDP ranks have been unhappy that the chief minister Naidu has so far not filled non-official appointments in the government. Only those who are very close to leadership have been accommodated in various capacities such advisors in the government. The murmur in the party is that sincere party workers are not getting due recognition in the form of nominated posts in the public sector bodies. Naidu, they allege, is unable to gauge the resentment, as he is buoyed by the unabated migrations into the party.

Naidu addressed the teleconference to reassure them that the more the migrations the stronger will be the party. If the party is stronger, it would get reelected three time , even five times, was the message, he had sent across today.

” It’s necessary to make everybody partner in the development. Bring all those likeminded to participate in the development of the state,” he told party leaders.
He assured them that they need worry about their status in the party.
” Even though many new leaders join you in the party, old leader won’t get ignored. The strength of the Assembly is expected to up before 2019. You all get plenty of opportunities,” he reassured those who were feeling threatened by the entry of YSRCP MLAs and arch rivals in some cases.
Naidu asked them to get inspiration from Chhttisgarh and Odisha, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh where same party has got reelected for third or fourth time. ” There is not limit for the success. We you work hard, TDP will get relected three or four times,” he said to enthuse the party leaders, who are waiting for one post or the other.

He reminded his audience, MPs, MLAs, ministers, district party presidents, and other senior leaders that the TDP had not been set up with commercial motive. “The founding philosophy of the TDP was to introduce an element of service into politics,” he said adding that it was everybody’s responsibility to repay something to the society as Seociety had given you many things.
