Macho Star Gopichand hasn’t tasted success in the recent years. His theatrical market tumbled down and his last offering Chanakya ended up as the biggest disaster in the actor’s career. His next film that was planned to be produced by veteran producer BVSN Prasad was kept on hold. Gopichand is in talks with Sampath Nandi for a sports drama and the actor has all his hopes on the film. The makers decided to slash down the budget after the poor show of Gopichand’s Chanakya.
Gopichand decided not to take any remuneration home and instead he would share the profits of the film after release. As the film is set in the backdrop of Kabaddi, the movie needs to be made on a decent budget. Tamannaah is on board as the leading lady. Sampath Nandi too has been asked to make the film on a shoe-string budget. Srinivasaa Silver Screens will produce this sports drama which will start rolling from December.
