The YSR family has got a firm hold on the Kadapa district where no party is able to survive except Jaganmohan Reddy’s YSR Congress Party. But in this district, the BJP has stepped up its activities recently. PM Modi has addressed a video conference with Kadapa leaders and cadres and also farmers there. Even BJP President Amit Shah personally visited the place amid large scale mobilisation of activists.
What is the secret behind this sudden love and affection of BJP towards Kadapa? It is now clear Jaganmohan Reddy and his men are supporting all these activities of BJP there. Some of the YCP leaders in the district are also upset at Jagan’s leadership style as such closeness to BJP will naturally affect their party image. Nobody can discuss such matters with Jagan who is known for his dictatorial functioning with least regard for counselling or advice from seniors.
Referring to this issue, Water Resources Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao says Jagan’s real face is getting exposed day by day and his secret support to even BJP party activities is a matter of shame to Telugu people. Uma took strong objection to Jagan playing wicked politics in collusion with KCR by sitting in his office in Lotus Pond residence.
