Music sensation SS Thaman completed a decade as composer in South. Hailing from an illustrious musically connected family, Thaman started his career as a drummer and worked with several renowned musicians. His hobby turned into a profession after his father’s sudden departure left his family high and dry. He assisted Mani Sharma and AR Rahman for numerous hit albums.
In Tollywood, he made an impressive debut with Ravi Teja’s Kick as the audio was a chart-buster in those days. Since then, there is no looking back for the talented composer as he worked with many star directors and big league actors. He also made his acting debut in Shankar’s Boys.
Thaman’s success graph is on the rise with back to back hit compositions in the recent years. Thaman has a rare quality who can blend modern and rural tunes with perfection in the same album. He rendered several earworm melodies and also known for his foot tapping fast beat mass songs.
Currently working for NTR’s Aravinda Sametha, his first collaboration with Trivikram Srinivas, the young and talented composer is soon going to debut in Bollywood with Temper remake.
