With his solo acts not giving him the desired results, Sunil has decided to go the way that paid rich dividends to him early in his career. Films like ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, ‘Padi Padi Leche Manasu’ headlined by stars like Ravi Teja and Sharwanand (respectively) point to it. To this end, the latest we hear about the actor is that he has agreed to feature in Kishore Tirumala’s ‘Chitralahari- Bar and Restaurant’, starring Sai Dharam Tej.

“Sunil plays Sai’s friend who has his own goals to meet. It’s a part which is integral to the narrative, a factor which drove him to nod his head. It requires him to be subtle and he is kicked about it. The film will roll next month but he is likely to join the sets a little later,” confirmed a source.

Also, we’ve been told that Kishore’s love affair with Vizag will continue with this film too, as a major chunk of the shooting is scheduled in and around the Steel City. His earlier films—‘Nenu.. Sailaja…’ and ‘Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi’—were set in Vizag.

However, “some portions will be shot in Hyderabad,” added the source.

Although the film will primarily explore the relationship between father-son, Kishore has woven a nice love story into it. Kalyani Priyadarshan and Ritika Singh are on board to play female leads.
