As ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ is heading for completion of the shoot, Sukumar is all set to launch his movie starring Allu Arjun. The film was to go to the sets in the first week of October but it was pushed to November. Sukumar is now fixing an auspicious muhurtham to launch the movie in 10 days. The regular shoot would also be commenced from next month. 

Allu Arjun, however, would only join the shoot in January as he needs to go for a makeover. He will develop a long and thick beard. During his absence, Sukumar will shoot key scenes with other actors.
 
Mythri Movie Makers is producing the film. Even as top directors are moving away from Devi Sri Prasad, Sukumar is continuing his collaboration with his favorite music composer. Both of them have locked three tunes already.
 
Sukumar is also trying to rope in Vijay Sethupathi for the villain’s role. The Tamil actor is already playing an important character in Sukumar’s associate Sana Buchi Babu’s maiden directorial ‘Uppena’. But he is yet to sign this role. He is just being considered for the role.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun is busy with the shoot of Ala Vaikunthapuramlo in the direction of Trivikram Srinivas. The film is slated for Sankranthi release next year and the makers are in plans for innovative promotions. Allu Arjun and Trivikram planned a special promotional song for the film which will be shot next month in a special set. The major cast along with Allu Arjun will be present in the song.

The film’s music composer SS Thaman is currently busy composing the song. Ala Vaikunthapuramlo features Pooja Hegde as the heroine and Tabu, Boman Irani, Satyaraj, Jayadev, Sushanth in other crucial roles. The film’s shoot is happening at a fast pace in Hyderabad. S Radha Krishna and Allu Aravind are the producers of this family drama.
