Young turk Sankalp Reddy is awaiting the release of his second directional Anthariksham which is a one of its kind space thriller. After his Telugu debut Ghazi won a national award, Sankalp set sights on making Bollywood debut.

Speaking to media during Anthariksham promotions, Sankalp revealed that he has been signed up by two Bollywood production houses. Reportedly, he is going to team up with RSVP banner and Vipul Shah’s production for his first two Hindi films.

Sankalp will start working on his Hindi debut from early next year. Like Ghazi and Anthariksham, he is planning to explore a new genre in Bollywood.

Varun Tej’s space thriller Anthariksham is gearing up for release on December 21st. The Sankalp Reddy directional is going to face stiff competition at box office from Sharwanand’s Padi Padi Leche Manasu and Kannada film KGF which are releasing on the same day. Both these films are carrying good buzz among audience and trade circles.

In an unexpected setback for Anthariksham producers, Andhra area distributor Beanz Arjun( Vizag) who came forward to snap the rights for 8 Crores has backed out in the last minute. Heavy competition from other releases is said to be the reason why the distributor pulled out just a few days before its release.

Producers of Anthariksham believed that they are in safe zone with table profits as Andhra area rights were sold for a good price. But, the last minute setback has come as a shocker to the production house. They are now releasing the film on their own in Andhra region.
