Director S.S.Rajamouli has made Telugu people around the world proud with Baahubali movie. 1.Mystery About His Name
Rajamouli parents are devotes of Lord Shiva. His mother got a dream where a saga dressed in white robe handed over a baby to her and Rajamouli was born after she visited Srisailam. So Rajamouli was named as Srisailam Sri Rajamouli.
2.First Step Into Film Industry
Most of us are aware that Rajamouli started off as assistant director under director K.Raghavendra Rao but in fact, his first guru in direction is director Kranthi Kumar. Rajamouli’s first step into the film industry is not in direction department but he worked as assistant editor for Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao.
3.Value For Education
Due to bad financial conditions of his family, Rajamouli discontinued education after his intermediate studies. But knowing the true value of education Rajamouli completed his engineering degree from C.R.R. College of engineering, Elluru.
4.Stunt Director Avatar
Rajamouli is popular for his breathtaking action episodes in his movies. As per his father, Vijayendra Prasad request Rajamouli has donned stunt director avatar for Rajananna movie where he filmed powerful action scenes on Nagarjuna. Those scenes have boosted the film at box office.
5.Reason Behind Turning Atheist
In childhood, Rajamouli was a firm believer of god and he even used to visit the church to make prayers. During his initial days in the film industry, Rajamouli worked with Gunnam Gangaraju, who was an ardent follower of Ayn Rand’s philosophy. Once Gunnam Gangarju gave Ayn Rand’s book “The Fountainhead” to Rajamouli. After reading Ayn book everything changed in Rajamouli’s perception towards life and he turned into an atheist from then.
