Telagnana submits proposals to the Centre to develop the stretch between Maharashtra and Polavaram Project on river Godavari as a water way.
Hyderabad: All the Irrigation Project in Telagnana would be designed to provide water ways to give a fillip to the development of the state. It was part of this the TS government had sent proposals to the Centre for developing the stretch between Maharashtra to Polavarm Project on river Godavari as a water way. This would not only boost economic activity providing cheap transport, but will also immensely help to the development of tourism in the state. Adding to this, the TS have also proposed development of Kottagudem – Sattupalli railway line and an airport in Kottagudem. The water, rail and road connectivity would be given top priority for the development of Khammam and other backward areas in the state by the TRS government said the TS Minister for Road and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao.
