Vijay Devarakonda’s supernatural comedy thriller Taxiwaala is going to end as an average grosser at the US box office.
After a mediocre first weekend with around $ 420k, the Rahul Sankrithyan directional ended it’s second weekend on an average note with a total of $ 740K. Surprisingly, despite no competition from new releases, the film couldn’t surpass the one million mark. Trade circles have termed this run a moderate performance because the numbers are very underwhelming compared to Vijay’s previous hits in overseas. However, it is a safe venture for buyers as the deal was closed for a very low price even before Vijay’s Arjun Reddy released.
The film has been made on a low budget by SKN in association with UV Creations and GA2 Pictures.
