Chiyaan Vikram desperately needs a hit as none of his films in the recent years ended up as hits. Though the actor has been surprising the audience with his outstanding performance, his films could not get decent commercial figures on board. He recently wrapped up the shoot of his next film Sketch which has been announced for November release. The actor revealed that he will be the part of Saamy 2, the sequel for his super hit film Saamy that released in 2003.
The regular shoot of Saamy 2 started in Chennai today on the auspicious day of Dussehra. Hari is directing this action entertainer and Keerthy Suresh will play the female lead. Young music sensation Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for Saamy 2. The first schedule will be wrapped up in Chennai after which Saamy 2 movie unit will shift to North India for a massive schedule.
