Quite a good number of global companies are investing hugely in AP now. The Kia Motors is one such example. What is our fate if the TDP does not come to power as per recent poll surveys? Some industrialists are asking CM Chandrababu Naidu who just gave them confidence that such surveys would not come true. It may be recalled the recent ‘Times Now – VMR Opinion Poll’ said the YCP will win 23 MP seats while the TDP will end up with just 2 seats.
The TDP leaders made fun of this saying the poll is cleverly manipulated to suit the needs of PM Modi and Jaganmohan Reddy as regards AP affairs. Very intelligently, the opinion poll said the BJP-led NDA would fall short of majority with a small margin. But the poll gave such big number to Jaganmohan Reddy party to project that he will play the kingmaker role along with some other smaller regional biggies.
Naidu’s comment came amid increased showdown between the BJP and the opposition parties at national level. He told AP people that the state would have achieved bigger feats in industrial and welfare sectors had there been expected support from the Central government. CBN expressed confidence the TDP would be voted to power once again to protect AP interests.
